I have to say I almost always have something fun or funny to relate after a race, but this one was something else again. After driving a touch of the course prior to race time I was wondering if I was the only one who thought they heard something about this being a flat course. [...]
We had 27 skaters (plus those we initially forgot, Kim, Steve-o, Jodi and Jason) making 31 skaters for the Walk and Roll this year….not a record breaker, but an excellent turnout. Thank you to all who came. It was a perfect morning for skating….sunny, relatively easy wind for the lakefront, great temperatures [...]
