Another event you may want to consider: The Canada Day Inline Marathon, in Cambridge, Ontario on July 1. I participated last year and it was a well-run and well-supported event. It is an easy drive, less than 4 hours from Detroit. At the moment, the website simple says "Information to come later" for the 2011 event: http://rollersports.ca/

Thanks for providing this list of events of interest to us midwestern inline skaters! Another event you may wish to add is the Flag City (Findlay, OH) Multisport Celebration, which includes a 22-mile inline race. It is an out-&-back course on relatively good country roads and city streets. Here's the link: http://www.hfpracing.com/events/2011/flag-city-multisport
Thanks again and best regards,
Alex Van Duyne

No event for 2011 yet? Why not start it with the Great EsSkate in February and what about warming up in sunny Miami Beach during the Great EsSkate weekend?

Go to YouTube and search for the Great EsSkate. You will see hundreds of inline skaters having a great time in sunny Miami Beach while much of the rest of the world is freezing their skate bearings in snow. On February 4-6, 2011 we are going to do it the 11th time, one last time. To find out more go to our web site at www.thegreatesskate.com
or email to
greatesskate@att.net

It’s happening less than a month from now so you will have to act quickly.
Hope to see you there!!

Thank you
